WHO WE ARE
Did these guys spell the city of Verona incorrectly? No! Our name represents the coming together of the bakery's two owners, Giancarlo Anselmi & Luigi Roditis. Giancarlo is a seasoned baker and bakery operator with 30+ years of bakery experience from Verona, Italy, and Luigi has nearly 10 years of pizza and restaurant industry experience, with his family being from Rome and his specialty being Roman style pizzas. Verona + Roma = Veroma!
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Giancarlo & Luigi are passionate about honoring and respecting the time and effort it takes to make high-quality pizzas and breads. All of our doughs are mixed with a mother yeast culture and biga (preferment), and are long fermented for 24-72 hours. This longer dough process results in a tastier and more easily digestible final product. Everything is also rolled and stretched by hand, assuring that our products always appear freshly made—we strongly believe in the artisan touch!
